Remembering UHA 1968-69
by Michelle Alton (Shelley Stern)

The concerts

Jefferson Airplane, Joni Mitchell, Mothers of Invention, Abby Hoffman, Moody Blues... many more. Most of the entertainers made their way to the Newspaper Office, probably because Ben had been instrumental in their booking. The most memorable was Frank Zappa's visit to the News Room.

One of my friends was way too endowed with gigantic, pendulous breasts. She was only something like 120 pounds, which just exaggerated their size. She was wearing a tight tee shirt that day in the office. Zappa couldn't stop staring at them, and making lewd comments. My friend was mortified. That summer she had extensive breast reduction surgery, which made life much easier for her.
