Through the years

At some point after leaving UHA and after I had married (1984), I hooked up with Ron Mura, who managed the Jack Hardy website. From that site I would be informed about any concerts Jack would be doing in our vicinity. Jeff and I went to three of his concerts over the remaining years before his death. I was thrilled that Jack remembered me, and we reminisced before each show. I photographed one of the concerts in Princeton with David Masengill from my front-row seat. The photos came out pretty good. I remember sending them to Jack and apologizing for the quality. His reply, "They are better than you KNOW!" He was a very gentle man by that point in his career. Those photos were from a concert in Princeton, NJ on February 19, 2010 – just one year before Jack's death.
